Nelson Mandela was born in 1918.
He died in 2013. He was the first black president in South Africa. When he was
45 he was put in prison and spent 27 years in prison. He changed prison a
couple of times. A couple of years before he died, he got cancer. He survived
the cancer. In 1993 he got the Nobel peace prize. He had his last public show
under VM in South Africa in 2010, and in 2005 he visited Bodø in Norway.
